Making Japanese Sweets
sweets   You can make one of the cool traditional arts, "Kyoto's sweets".
As looking at two sweets made by artisan pastry, you can enjoy making the same sweet. You will watch a video show (Japanese) telling you how to make it and the instructor will also help you. There are several techniques for Cloisonne. In this activity, we will make it without metal wire putting the ceramic glaze freely on copper plate.
This technique is called "Musen Sippou (No wire Cloisonne)".
You will be asked to choose the shapes (fish, heart, or oval coin) a week prior to the class.
